rascal
Evie here. Meet Rascal and her wonderful mommy Erin! @rascalthepiggypitty "Rascal's life started out pretty rough. Shunned by her fur mom and abused by the humans that had her before me. She was roughly 5/6 weeks old when I rescued her. She was malnourished and filled with whipworms and hookworms from eating poop. She had cuts on her body and bruised ribs from being kicking her around like a soccer ball and thrown like a football. She has suffered many health issues from young to old: worms, ear problems, a torn acl, cancer, an under active thyroid, seizures, arthritis, food allergies, digestive problems and hip dysplasia. The most recent issue she's been dealt is an issue with her kidneys leaking proteins in her urine. Medicine has been prescribed to keep them functioning as they should. She takes a lot of meds to help with her ailments. Still, with all of those issues, both old and new, she is always happy, filled with joy, has a zest for life and loves to play just like a young pup. This frail little pig gave me purpose: to give her the best life possible. In doing so, she changed my life and I'm forever thankful for what she has taught me over the last 13 years about unconditional love, strength and never giving up. She inspires me to be a better person and reminds me to dig deep when times are tough. I love Rascal from nose to tail." @rascalthepiggypitty
