rex
Evie here. Meet Rex and his mom Amber@amberhelland. Here is Amber's story about Rex: My husband and I adopted Rex from the Meriden Pound on new years eve two years ago. When we met Rex we had no plans to leave that day with a dog, however, upon meeting Rex it was no doubt love at first sight and there was no way he was spending another night on a concrete floor. With paperwork in place Rex's freedom ride began. At that point I had no idea how quickly Rex would change and impact my life. We knew very little about him or his past and quickly discovered that Rex had severe separation anxiety and couldn't be left alone. Lucky for all of us, Rex was allowed to come to work with me and so our inseparable bond began. Rex has the ability to make me laugh out loud with his antics. He knows when I am feeling sad and always offers free snuggles and kisses to make me feel better. He is the true meaning of unconditional love. He doesnt know hate, he doesnt judge or hold grudges he's just a happy, goofy dog who just so happens to be a pitbull. Rex has given me purpose and allows me to share with others the true beauty and love of pitbulls. Every day he gives me the opportunity to show others that hes just like any other dog!! Rex is my very best friend and I'm truly blessed to be able to spend every day with him! Rex fills our home with more happiness then I could ever imagine. Every day is a new journey we embark on together! @amberhelland
